Description
The Seducer style is a classic saltwater pattern. This style of fly tying inspired many other flies that are still in common use today such as tarpon, bonefish and offshore patterns. The tail provides natural action while the palmer body adds both color and movement. Also, spreading out the hackles rather than forming a collar helps the fly settle more slowly thus making it ideal for shallow water fishing. This fly can be fished day or night, fast or slow. While red and white are the traditional colors other combinations can be used such as yellow/orange, blue/white and red/black. It is a proven pattern for all types of game fish including stripers, blues, weakfish, drum and snook.
