· Lower wing: Pearl/white Angel Hair
· Upper wing: Chartreuse/olive Angel Hair
· Thread: White or Mono
· Eyes: 3D stick-on, size ¼ inch

Tying Directions
1. Place hook in vise and attach thread approximately at the middle of the shank.
2. Turn the hook over (point-side up) and tie in a medium clump of pearl/white Angel Hair, approximately 4 inches long. Allow the Angel Hair to extend back past the hook bend.
3. Move the thread slightly forward and again tie in a medium clump of pearl/white Angel Hair, approximately 4 inches long. Allow this section to extend back over the previous section and past the hook bend.
4. Move the thread slightly forward again and repeat step #3.
5. Turn the hook back over (point-side down) and tie in a medium clump of chartreuse/olive Angel Hair, approximately 4 inches long. Allow this section to extend back past the hook bend.
6. Move the thread forward slightly and repeat step #5.
7. Build up the head into a narrow taper (as much as possible). Whip finish and coat with head cement.
8. Put a drop of Goop or epoxy on the back of each eye and firmly attach it to either side of the fly body just behind the head. Press the eyes together to help spread/flair the material.
9. Allow to dry thoroughly.
10. Done!

Description

Anchovies are a very common bait fish throughout the world. Most species of game fish, both inshore and offshore regularly feed on them. This pattern effectively imitates the large types of anchovies commonly found offshore and in warmer, tropical locations such as Mexico and the Pacific. It can also be tied in similar fashion but smaller (on smaller hooks too) to imitate the bay anchovies common to our area. The Owner hook will hold any game fish.
