The Salty Flyrodders of New York will conduct fly tying meetings twice monthly on Friday evenings at 7pm in Massapequa Park (meet at 6:30pm to set up). The first meeting is Friday February 5th. There is no cost to Saltys who's membership is current. Non-members can attend for $20 and if you decide to join the club, your fee will be applied to your membership dues. The format will be collaborative in nature. That is to say, the group will decide what patterns to tie that evening and may plan for patterns in future meetings. Each attendee will be offered the opportunity to demonstrate their favorite pattern and have the group follow along. Refreshments will be available for the first meeting so don't miss out on the coffee and donut holes!! Take the Seaford Oyster Bay Exp South to exit 2E ( Rt 27) Sunrise Highway, go 3 miles and make a right on UNQUA ROAD. (Mavis Discount Tire on corner) Go South and at the second traffic light make a right into the park. Follow the road straight into the south parking lot. The Community Building is next to the playground. Room B.

Take the Southern State pkwy to exit 32S (Rt110) Go south 1.5 mile to (Rt 27) Sunrise Highway West. Get into the left lane. Go 1.5 miles and make left onto UNQUA ROAD (there is a left hand turning lane one block before the corner, look for the sign) (Mavis Discount Tire on corner) Go South and at the second traffic light make a right into the park. Follow the road straight into the south parking lot. The Community Building is nex to the playground. Room B.
